Intellectual Property. What is it?

Studio Production
60' x 30' multi-camera video facility. Soundstage with full lighting and grip package. Features broadcast cameras, soft cycs, blue and green screen, teleprompter, control room and switcher. Studio also accommodates screenings and seminars.

Film & Video Post-Production
Multiple Final Cut Pro HD suites, 3D modeling, graphics, animation, compositing and special effects. Apple/AJA-based DVD authoring for digital delivery for any streamlined medium. Color correction to create any signature look.

Location Film and Video Production
On-location video production in Widescreen 16:9 and standard 4:3 formats, RED ONE, Ikegami and Sony cameras, lighting and audio packages. Resources and capabilities to shoot at any location worldwide.

Audio Services and Music Recording Studio
Fully automated Sony DMX-R100 mixer for stereo or multi-channel recording and mixing. Pro Tools 5.1.3 for up to 64 track playback. Picture/sound sweetening, narration recording, Foley and ADR production. Extensive microphone collection for ADR and post-production recording and audio design. Full music and sound effects compact disc library.

Host Committee, Platypi's Green Film Project will serve as the exclusive and official film project of the green initiative.

Creative Overview

We understand the need for comprehensive high quality media in today's business world. We also understand the importance of the environment and how efforts to green within your company can benefit many areas of business.

We at Platypi want to capture these efforts on film, creating content vignettes that can be showcased in and around the City of Denver through multiple distribution outlets, as well as presented in a feature-length documentary film for world-wide distribution. The Green Film Project, comprised of these various content vignettes and documentary film, will positively highlight the exciting multi-layered greening processes, challenges, and accomplishments of the City of Denver, the Convention Host Committee, and local businesses and organizations.

Although the green initiative leading up to the Democratic National Convention is a focal point of the documentary, The Green Film Project will highlight the overall, ongoing greening of Denver. The sustaining value of this documentary will be in its social marketing, environmental awareness, and educational opportunities. The Project will inspire a call to action for others, while serving as a legacy piece that showcases Denver as an eco-friendly sustainable development leader.
